Finally had some time..
It has been a busy couple weeks so far. My Daughter had her Birthday last week and turned 9! I can’t even believe how time flies by so fast.
Been trying to catch up on my February pages and am almost finished! There are definitely pages that are also blank or I had only photos to put in. I always try to write down what I did on a daily basis, but sometimes it just doesn’t happen lol.
Life can get busy, and journaling often gets pushed aside. But taking a moment each day to write can clear your mind. Imagine sitting in a cozy spot with a cup of tea, letting your pen flow freely. Writing isn’t a task; it’s a chance to reflect on your thoughts, one easy sentence at a time. So take a deep breath, slow down, and remember that journaling is more about enjoying those moments than how much you write.

Monthly Cuties
I have been having lots of fun with these little square doodles in my Monthly section. I used colored pencils and a fine liner to draw and color them in. Also, not sure how I feel about the new Hobonichi Paper .. As you can see I trie using my zig clean waterbrush and it did not want to move with water as I had hoped for and am use to. Might have to stick with regular watercolor paint for future pages.
My Monthly is kept Simple this Year.
Playing Catch up..
Really want to catch up in my weekly journal. A few days had gone by without me writing about what I did during the day. Sometimes I can’t catch up and that’s okay too.

What I am using for 2025
For this New Year I really wanted to try out seperate journals for my Weekly’s and Monthly. I haven’t used Travelers Notebooks in a long time and was starting to miss it. So,I decided to go ahead and use the half year notebooks from Travelers Company for my weekly’s and a whole year notebook for my Monthly’s. I thought they would be perfect since I didnt want anything to big and or too small.
For my Daily Journaling I am sticking with my usual Hobonichi Cousin Avec. This year I went ahead and ordered the Candy Floss Pink Cover from Hobonichi… I might have to make another order soon since there were a couple new covers they came out with that caught my eye for spring 2025.
